beauty of west sumatra part 2 (two)

and next trip to AIR MANIS BEACH and bridge SITI NURBAYA
to go to the sweet water beach, there are two roads that can go through, jaln first alternative path can be passed only 2 wheel vehicle and the road to the two public roads, but just the same because of the way through the hills and go to the beach too

This is the road to AIR MANIS beach
AIR MANIS Beach itself is one of the tourist destinations in the city of Padang and the site of the famous legend of the archipelago, namely stone Kundang, In the right corner there is a stone coast is like a human being prostrate trusted local community as Kundang cursed to stone for disobedience to his mother.

In addition, there is also AIR MANIS  Beach Banana Island which can be reached by foot when the tide receded. Relatively broad coastal beaches and the waves can be pretty good also surf .. Tourists can reach it from the airport using public transport or public transport serving the route. The beach is not far from the center of the city of Padang about 30 minutes.

and next trip to bridge SITI NURBAYA


One of the tourist icon in West Sumatra is Siti Nurbaya Bridge. That said, this bridge was the meeting place of lovers Siti Nurbaya and Samsul Bahri,

From the top of the bridge, many areas of interest that can be seen. Among others, the hill of Mount Padang, the old buildings of colonial Dutch masterpiece, Chinatown villages, and traditional boat back and forth in Muara Batang Arau.
 
 Siti Nurbaya bridge has a length of 60 meters. This bridge connects the old city of Padang with Siti Nurbaya Park, where Siti Nurbaya buried.

 Muara Batang Arau is quite wide and a lot of boats that dock and crossing rivers that disgorge at the Bukit Barisan. Port at the mouth of the Batang Arau is known as the Muara Port, which is the gateway inter-island maritime transport, especially to and from Mentawai Islands, Island Sikuai, Siberut Island, Pagang Island and other islands.
